Tax Day Tea Party 2009 At The Cranbury Inn

A large crowd of taxpayers from Cranbury and surrounding communities throughout New Jersey gathered tonight for the Tax Day Tea Party at the Cranbury Inn.

Two former Township Committee members Wayne Wittman and Art Hasselbach addressed the crowd at the Inn.

Mr. Wittman read aloud excerpts from the recently passed Omnibus Bill which highlighted our governments bloated spending policies and practices.

Former Council member Hasselbach raised concerns over the treatment of our veterans with regard to the new Department of Homeland Security report which came out this past week.

Perhaps the Tax Day Tea Party of 2009 is just the beginning of Americans waking up to smell the tea and realizing less is more when it comes to government and taxes here in our country. As it appears Tax Day 2009 was a success not only here in Cranbury, but all around our great country.

All in all it was a great non partisan gathering of concerned taxpayers who in the end all want smaller government and lower taxes.
